The Person: I was born in Passaic, New Jersey on September 16, 1990 to my lovely parents. I am half-White, half-Filipina and proud of both sides of me. I’m also proud to call myself a hybrid. I don’t find it offensive, but funny. I was born and raised Catholic and proud of it. I have lived all up and down the East Coast and have visited every state on the east side of the United States as well as many other states across the country. They are all incredibly beautiful. I currently live in Maryland after graduating from UGA. I live with my aunt just outside of the Baltimore area where its quiet enough to enjoy a good book, but close enough that I can enjoy all the city has to offer. I have a lovely boyfriend who is first and foremost my best friend. He followed me up here from Georgia. I also have amazing friends who treat me like family and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.

The Writer: I just graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in English and an emphasis in Creative Writing. I want to be a fiction writer, selling my books at local and national bookstores, but that is a hard thing to achieve. I am working on several stories, including three novels and a graphic novel. I have waaaaay too many ideas and use any outlet I can to write them out. This blog is the latest idea endeavor.

The Fidget-er:  My boyfriend teases me constantly about my inability to stay still. I am constantly playing with anything I can get my hands on even if it’s a napkin. It’s pretty bad actually. I have harnessed some of my fidgety-ness into knitting which helps a lot, but it isn’t the cure. My mind is also just as fidgety. I’m like a little kid who can’t stay still in the same place for too long.

I do regret being so fidgety
